We are this year’s AlmanakCie, which means we are responsible for creating this year's beautiful Almanak. We have put our hearts and souls into bringing alive a book which you actually want to read! We have achieved this by getting our associations very own input, your input!
We are David (our “not by choice” Praeses), Nora (our “very serious” Abactis), Martin (our “mon(k)ey man” Fiscus) and Hayden (our “burning passion” Graphic Designer). We should mention the reason there even is an AlmanakCie: our fallen comrade and first Praeses, Sjoerd. He gets an honourary mention for putting together this year’s AlmanakCie, only to then immediately leave us to do a minor in Svalbard (because apparently that matters more…).
This year has been about up and downs for us; the up being that, thanks to Sjoerd, there actually is an AlmanakCie. This is a serious improvement from last year. The downs, as mentioned before being that he left us in the warmth, we have no budget for InDesign and also not for therapy to deal with our newly found abandonment issues. Along with some horrifying sunburns we’ll tell our children about.
