Summer week & Alps week

During the summer holiday, the GSAC organizes two summer weeks in and around the Alps; the sport climbing week and the Alps week (Alpenweek). The GSAC arranges the campings and the way you fill your day is pretty much up to you (unless you participate in a course when you're there). That is why it's important to have enough experience with climbing or alpinism; during this week the idea is that people can make tours on their own with as a base a nice camp.

If you do want some guidance, you can participate in the GSAC summer course (sport climbing), where our instructors can guide you for a whole week with climbing on real rocks and climbing for multiple rope lenghts. If you want guidance during the Alps week, you need to arrange a guide or instructor yourself, or make sure you can join a group of experienced alpinists.
