Looking for a new climbing bag? GSAC member Rhys Williams has set up his own business, RAW CHALK, creating chalk bags from recycled fabric. Fashioned from unusable clothes and (colourful) material which had the bin in its future, unique, handcrafted chalk bag are transformed to not only help climbers grip to the wall but also to help reduce clothing waste!

At RAW CHALK, they have not only a passion for climbing and the mountains but also a great drive for sustainability and the future of our planet. Although the bags are small, a strong, impactful message is given. When someone climbs with a RAW CHALK bag they will be individual ambassadors in creating a happy, and healthy planet.
